Information for Professionals
This part of the website applies to you if you are a ‘professional’, working with or caring for children and young people in an employed or voluntary capacity. This includes people whose job brings them into contact with children frequently, infrequently or on an ad hoc basis, (for example ambulance drivers). It also includes a wide variety of people in a caring capacity, such as foster carers and child minders.
Hartlepool and Stockton-on-Tees Safeguarding Children Partnership is responsible for co-ordinating local agencies, in the ‘statutory’ and ‘non statutory’ sectors, and has a collective responsibility for ensuring that all agencies working with children in Hartlepool and Stockton-on-Tees undertake their safeguarding duties and responsibilities.
